Booked 7 months in advance, the day had finally arrived for me to start the legendary Milford Track.
With improved weather but short on time , I made a side trip to Key Summit on the last day of the Routeburn Track.
Clouds blocked the scenery for most of the day, but later on I was treated with great views of Lake Mackenzie, and a lunar eclipse.
