The train from Uyuni arrived at Villazon a little bit after 2pm. Outside the station I was offered a ride in a shared taxi to the border for 4 bolivianos.

While looking for a bus to go to Sucre and Potosi, we found out that there was a roadblock preventing any buses from leaving town.

This was on my top-5 list of places I wanted to visit in South America. Despite sleeping only 1 hour, I was thrilled to see it in person.

After waiting for 2 days in vain for the roadblock around Potosi to end, I decided to go to Uyuni instead and try my luck at Potosi later on.
